Hubungan Konsentrasi Klorofil-A Dengan Total P Di Perairan Danau Tanjung Kudu Dan Danau Parit Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
Research on the relationship between chlorophyll-a concentration and total
phosphorus was conducted in Januari-Februari 2021 in Tanjung Kudu Lake and
Parit Lake, Tambang District. The aims of this study was to determine the
relationship between chlorophyll-a and total phosphorus concentration. There
were 3 Station, namely Station 1 (inlet), Station 2 (in the middle of lake), and
Station 3 (end of the lake). Sampling point were at the surface and 2 Secchi depth.
Sampling was carried out 4 times once/week. Water quality parameters were
measured such as temperature, pH, transparency, DO, free CO2, and nitrate. The
results shown that the correlation between chlorophyll-a and total phosphorus
concentration in Tanjung Kudu Lake and Parit Lake respectively : Y = 1.86 +
87.52 X (r) 0.84, dan Y = 3.58 + 118.02 X (r) 0.88. The total phosphorus
concentration in Tanjung Kudu Lake range from 0.042-0.051 mg/L and in Parit
Lake range from 0.047-0.052 mg/L. The chlorophyll-a concentration in Tanjung
Kudu Lake range from 1.77-2.67 μg/L and in Parit Lake range from 1.77-2.93
μg/L. Water quality parameters such as temperature 29.5-29.8oC, pH 5.3-5.6,
transparency 52.7-57.3 cm, DO 3.9-5.1 mg/L, free CO2 9.9-15.9 mg/L, nitrate
0.028-0.043 mg/L, in Tanjung Kudu Lake and in Parit Lake : temperature was
29.8-30oC, pH 5.2-5.6, transparency 50-67.1 cm, DO 3.71-5.8 mg/L, free CO2
8.9-14.9 mg/L, nitrate 0.035-0.05 mg/L. Based on data, the chlorophyll-a
concentration and total phosphorus are not significantly different in Tanjung Kudu
Lake and Parit Lake, but the relationship between chlorophyll-a and total
phosphorus in Parit Lake is higher than in Tanjung Kudu Lake.
