Fluktuasi Ammonia Pada Budidaya Ikan Patin (Pangasius Sp ) Yang Diberi Pakan Jeroan Ikan
ABSTRACT
Food is an important factor in the cultivation of fish. Overloading of food
would cause economic harm and lower water quality from the environment. The
food left uneaten by the fish causes a toxicity like ammonia. The purpose of this
study is to understand how the combination of fish’s offal meal and commercial
feed would affect the ammonia change and get the best dose proportion to the
production of the catfish. This research was conducted in August-September
2020, located in the Cultured Environment Qulity Laboratory, Aquaculture
Fakulty of Fisheries and Marine University of Riau. The method in this research
was an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CDR) with
five levels of treatment and trhee replication that required 15 experimental units
such a treatment P1= 75% commercial feed + 25% fish offal, P2 = 50%
commercial feed + 50% fish offal, P3 = 25% commercial feed + 75% fish offal
and 100% fish offal. The best concentrations of ammonia found at P2 are 0,0023
mg/l with a specific rate of growth 2,80%, feed conversion rate 1,25 and survival
rate 83,33%. Water qulity during research were 27-290C, pH 6,9-7,00C and
dissolved oxygen 6,9-7,2 mg/L.
