Pengembangan Modul Pengelolaan Limbah Pertanian Berbasis Stem Melalui Blended Learning Terhadap Berpikir Kritis Dan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMP
This study aims to determine the validity of teaching materials for
STEM-based agricultural waste management modules on environmental pollution
materials developed and the effect of the developed modules on increasing critical
thinking and student learning outcomes on environmental pollution materials.
This research consists of two stages, namely the first stage of module
development using Research & Development through the ADDIE approach in the
Master Program of FKIP UNRI, the second stage of experimentation at SMPN 4
Bungaraya. The module validation phase involves 4 subjects (1 module expert,
one material expert and 2 science teachers). Feasibility assessment by experts
using validation sheets. The practical test phase involved 5 teacher and the
limited trial involved 20 students. The assessment of the practicality of the module
uses a questionnaire response, namely teacher and student responses. Data
analysis used descriptive analysis assisted by Microsoft Office Excel 2007. The
experimental stage was to see the effect of the developed module on critical
thinking and student learning outcomes. Assessment of students' critical thinking
uses questions before and after treatment, while the assessment of learning
outcomes uses pretest and posttest. Data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 20
software.
The results of the module development research show that the feasibility
value by the first and second material experts with a very valid average is 3.4
(84), while the feasibility value by learning experts (science teachers) is very good
4.5 (90.83). Student and student responses were very practical, 88.3 practicality
tests by students and 84 limited trials by students. This shows that the STEMbased
agricultural waste management module produced in this study is
considered feasible to be used in learning environmental pollution materials.
The results of the experimental phase of the research showed that there
was a significant effect of using the STEM-based agricultural waste management
module through Blended Learning on critical thinking and student learning
outcomes, namely in the critical thinking experimental class before treatment,
68.2 medium category increased to 80.7 high category after treatment. , while in
the control class 63.5 the medium category became 72.6 medium category, the
experimental class learning outcomes obtained an average pretest value of 50.00
the very poor category became a posttest average of 80.33 good categories, while
the control class pretest obtained an average of 50.67 and posttest average of
67.55, this means that the experimental class further improves critical thinking
and learning outcomes compared to the control class.

The conclusion of this study is that the development of STEM-based
agricultural waste management modules as teaching materials on environmental
pollution material is very valid and the use of the developed modules can improve
critical thinking and student learning outcomes.
