Pengembangan Video Dokumenter Berbasis Virtual Field Trip Pada Materi Keanekaragaman Hayati Untuk Kelas X Di SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru
Riau Province has potential of diverse natural resources, the various
ecosystems, it can be used as learning resources for students to support
understanding the basic concepts of biodiversity material. This study aims to
develop and determine the quality of video documentary based on virtual field
trips as an alternative medium for learning biology on biodiversity material for
high school grade 10. This research is a research and development.
This research is a development research with ADDIE model as
development model. The research instrument was a validation sheet and a
respondent's questionnaire. The data analysis technique is a likert scale with a
scale of five. The data obtained through the expert validation questionnaire is a
qualitative scale that needs to be converted into a quantitative scale. In this study,
it was limited to the development stage only by conducting validity tests from
experts, practicality tests and limited trials, using a response questionnaire.
The research results include the results of material expert validation with
an average score of 4,3 in the Excellent category, the results of media expert
validation with an average score of 4,2 in the Excellent category and the results
of Biology teachers with an average score of 4,34 in the Excellent category.
Meanwhile, the results of the Practicality Test with an average score of 88,00 and
the results of the Limited Trial with an average score of 86,13, so it can be stated
that the video documentary based on virtual field trips on Biodiversity material
for SMA grade 10 is declared very valid and suitable for use in learning.
