Kontribusi Mata Pencaharian Alternatif Terhadap Pendapatan Rumah Tangga Nelayan Di Kelurahan Bagan Hulu Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

ABSTRACT
This research was aimed to determine the types of alternative livelihoods
carried out by fishermen and analyze the contribution of alternative livelihoods to
fishermen's household incomes in Bagan Hulu Village. The method used is a survey
method. Respondents were determined by the census, namely 28 fishing households
with alternative livelihoods. Collecting data using primary and secondary data
through direct interviews, questionnaires were then analyzed descriptively. The
types of alternative livelihoods carried out by fishermen in Bagan Hulu Village,
Bangko Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency are blood clam ponds (Anadara
granosa), motorcycle repair shops, shrimp paste makers, farmers, laborers/ artisans,
palm oil mendodos, salted fish processors and pond guards. The contribution
contributed by fishermen in capture fisheries is high (72.7%), the contribution of
alternative livelihoods carried out by fishermen is low (5.1%), the contribution of
fishermen's wives is low (10.4%) and fishermen's children are included in the low
class (11.9%).
