ABSTRACT
This study was aimed to determine the income of freshwater aquaculture and the
level of household welfare of freshwater aquaculture farmer groups This research
was conducted in Maret 2020. The method used within this research was survey
method. he respondents who were taken in this study were 13 people, namely all
members of the farmer group. The results of this study indicate that the total
average income of fishermen's households is IDR. 3,310,769 per month, namely
the fishery sector of IDR. 1,333,846 per month and in the non-fishery sector it is
IDR. 1,976,923 per month. The source of household income for this farmer group
is greater in the non-fishery sector than in the fishery sector. The level of
household welfare of the freshwater aquaculture farmer group in the Sorek Satu
sub-district which is in the poor category is 7 households while the prosperous
category is 6 households.
