Uji Kompatibilitas Tiga Isolat Trichoderma Sp. Dan Daya Hambatnya Terhadap Colletotrichum Capsici Penyebab Penyakit Antraknosa Pada Tanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum Annuum L.)
ABSTRACT
The research aims to determine the compatibility of three isolates of
Trichoderma sp. and get the best consortium in inhibiting Colletotrichum capsici
causes of anthracnose disease in red chili. The research was conducted at the Plant
Disease Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Pekanbaru
started from March to May 2021. The research consisted of 4 steps : 1)
compatibility test of three Trichoderma sp. isolates, 2) growth test of
Trichoderma sp. isolates, 3) in vitro inhibition test on PDA media, and 4) in vivo
inhibition test on red chili. Compatibility test was carried out descriptively by
combined three Trichoderma sp. isolates. Growth test of Trichoderma sp. isolates,
in vitro and in vivo inhibition tests were carried out experimentally used a
completely randomized design (CRD) consisted of 5 treatments and repeated 3
times so that 15 experimental units were obtained. The results showed
Trichoderma sp. oil palm rhizosphere isolate (J5), Trichoderma sp. red chili
rhizosphere isolate (R15), and T. virens oil palm root endophytic isolate (TR-01)
combined resulted in incompatible pairs of isolates. Trichoderma sp. oil palm
rhizosphere isolate (J5) + Trichoderma sp. red chili rhizosphere isolate (R15) was
the best treatment for colony diameter (90,00 mm), growth speed (35,00 mm.day-
1), inhibition of C. capsici on PDA media (76,32%), when symptoms appeared
(6,67 days), and intensity of C. capsici attack on red chilies (23,33%).
