Biologi Reproduksi Ikan Ingir-Ingir (Mystus Nigriceps, Valenciennes 1840) Di Sungai Kampar Kiri Desa Mentulik Provinsi Riau
Mystus nigriceps fish in the Kampar Kiri River, Mentulik Village, is a fish for public
consumption, so it is often fishing that causes a decline in the population of this fish
in nature. A study aims to examine the reproductive biology aspects of M. nigriceps
fish. Fish samples ware taken once a month from February-July 2021. The parameters
measured include long and weight relationships, condition factors, sex ratio, gonad
maturity level (TKG), gonad maturity index (IKG), fecundity, egg diameter and
aquatic quality. The results showed that there were 32 male fish and 84 female fish
(sex ratio 1: 2.26). The average length and total body weight of male fish is 11.4-16.3
cm (8.75-34.971 g) and female fish 11.4-18.5 cm (7.62-36.84 g), with a negative
alometric growth pattern and condition factor of 1,005. The level of gonad (TKG) of
male and female fish is found at the TKG I-IV stage. The gonad maturity index (IKG)
of male M. nigriceps fish ranges from 0.11-2.52% and females range from 0.22-
20.60%. The fecundity of M. nigriceps fish ranges from 626-16,370 eggs with
diameters ranging from 0.43-0.75 mm and has a spawning pattern that is a total
spawner.
