Analisis Faktor Risiko Personal Hygiene Dengan Penyakit Kulit Infeksi Pada Masyarakat Di Desa Ranah Kecamatan Kampar
Infectious skin diseases are diseases that arise due to microbial invasion including
bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites that reach the surface layer of the skin and
the soft tissue beneath. Skin infections are still a health problem that occurs
worldwide. Skin infections in the community are generally influenced by personal
hygiene behavior carried out in daily activities. The purpose of this study was to
determine the analysis of personal hygiene risk factors with infectious skin diseases
in the community in Ranah Village, Kampar District. This study is an analytic with
a cross sectional approach conducted from July 2020 to December 2021. This study
used a sample of 100 respondents by filling out a questionnaire. The results also
showed that 39% of the people in Ranah village suffered from infectious skin
diseases with the majority of the implementation of individual hygiene practices in
the community being in the good category. Based on the results of the Chi-square
statistical test, the results show that there is a significant relationship between skin
hygiene (p value=0.000), clothing cleanliness (p value =0.000), towels cleanliness
(p value =0.000), bed and sheets cleanliness (p value=0.000) with the incidence of
infectious skin diseases in the community.
