This study aims to find out the literary tekt on the traditional Malay marriage Sombah Nasi, Sentajo Raya District. Sombah Nasi was the beginning of oral literature because of tecnological advances in ninik mamak documentig the Sombah Nasi. The type of research in this study is qualitative usiang descriptive analysis research methods. The data source of this research is the text of Sombah Nasi which is documented by Mamak Paliang Soni Named Sukardiman. The data is then analyzed usiang descriptive analysis techniques. The result of the author’s research found rhymes, petatah-petitih, and traditional skills.
