Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas VIIIb SMP It Darul Huda Ukui
This research was motivated by the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIIIB students of SMP IT Darul Huda Ukui which were still below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KBM) with a percentage of 37,03% who reached the KKM in circle subjects. Build flat side space. The purpose of this study aims to improve the learning process and improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of problem based learning model. Classroom Action Research with two cycles, carried out in class VIIIB SMP IT Darul Huda Ukui in the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The research subjects were 27 students. The research instrument consisted of learning tools and data collection instruments. Learning tools include syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets. While the data collection instruments are observation sheets and mathematics learning outcomes tests. Observation sheets were analyzed descriptively qualitatively while the mathematics learning outcomes test were analyzed statistically. That the implementation of the learning process in the second cycle has increased from the implementation in the first cycle. The percentage of students who achieve KBM increased from the basic value, daily test I, and daily test II. The number of students who achieved the KKM on the basic score, daily test I and daily test II, respectively (37,03 %), (48,14%) and (74,07 %). This study shows that the problem based learning model can improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes in class VIIIB students of SMP IT Darul Huda Ukui in the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic year.
