Pengembangan Media Video Tutorial Pada Kegiatan Praktikum Biologi Untuk Siswa SMA
Biology is one of the subjects that is not only delivered through theory and practical activities. As we know, learning biology is inseparable from practical activities, both in the laboratory and in nature. This practicum activity aims to make the material presented more easily understood and can instill and develop scientific skills, attitudes, and values to students. This study aims to produce a product that can assist the design and implementation of biology practicum activities in schools, especially in observations using a microscope, so that it can be useful for teachers and students in the learning process. This research resulted in two development products, namely video tutorials and practical guide books. The product validation results obtained an average of 93.59 (Video Tutorial) and 92.96 (Guide Book) with a very decent category. The results of the limited trial phase I obtained an average of 93.75 (video tutorial) and 95.52 (guidebook) with a very good category. The results of the second trial obtained an average of 91.09 (Video Tutorial) and 90.21 (guidebook) with a very good category. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the video tutorials on practicum activities for high school students have very good quality from the validation results seen from the quality aspects of content and learning materials aspects of learning quality, language aspects, design/display aspects and programming aspects. For the results of trials I and II, the video tutorials for practicum activities also have very good quality in terms of content/material and media aspects.
