The general purpose of this study is to describe behavior in the management of study
time while working students at FKIP Riau University. While the special purpose is to
describe the profile of students studying while working at FKIP Riau University. This
research was conducted at Riau University with students who were studying in the
academic year 2021-2022 as many as 3 peoples, selected based on random purposive
techniques from 8 peoples, because they had above-average learning achievements.
This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which combines qualitative
approaches with quantitative approaches. The collection is done by interview,
observation and documentation techniques, and the validity of the data is done by
triangulation of sources and techniques. Data collection instruments are the
researchers themselves.

data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The conclusion of the study found
that time management is done by prioritizing learning from work, this is done when
there is an urgent time, if both are equally important, then it can be done at the same
time, namely manually and online; completion of the task is done by doing it earlier in
time and delivering the task directly to the lecturer concerned; take advantage of the
place and time by avoiding crowds so as not to waste empty time and rest to learn;
Learning time control is done by making a written schedule affixed to the wall so as not
to forget. Another finding is that there is indeed pressure in making decisions when
studying while working; Motivation to work is due to economic problems.
