Uji Patogenesitas Beberapa Isolat Ganoderma Spp. Asal Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit Di Lahan Gambut Pada Bibit Kelapa Sawit Varietas D X P Topaz 3
ABSTRACT
Palm oil is the largest vegetable oil-producing plantation crop in the world. Riau
Province is one of the centers of palm oil production in Indonesia. One of the
causes of the decline in palm oil production is stem rot disease caused by the
pathogenic fungus Ganoderma spp. The aims of this study were to determine the
effect of inoculation of Ganoderma spp. isolates from palm oil plantation peatland
to the palm oil seedlings and to gain the isolates of Ganoderma sp. that more
virulent in infecting palm oil seedlings of D x P Topaz 3 variety. This was an
experimental study conducted in October 2020 to February 2021 at the Laboratory
of Plant Pathology and Greenhouse Plant Production Agricultural Laboratory,
Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Riau, Pekanbaru. Consisted of 7 treatments
and 3 replications, this study obtained 21 experimental units. Each experimental
unit consists of 3 samples and finally gained the total of 63 samples. The
treatment tested were to give of Ganoderma spp. consisting of isolates of
LPTUNRI-Gan001, LPTUNRI-Gan002, LPTUNRI-Gan003, LPTUNRI-Gan004,
LPTUNRI-Gan005, LPTUNRI-Gan006, and not to give the Ganoderma sp.isolate
to the palm oil seedlings. The result found that the isolate of Ganoderma sp.
LPTUNRI-Gan001 has a higher virulence level compared to other isolates with
the fastest fruiting body emergence time was 82.20 days after inoculation and
having the highest total disease incidence and disease intensity with 88.88% and
48.88%, respectively. Palm oil seedlings inoculated with LPTUNRI-Gan001
isolate affected the physiological process of seedlings.
