Analisis Tingkat Partisipasi Masyarakat Dalam Pembangunan Desa Di Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

This study aims to determine the level of community participation and
determine what factors influence community participation in village community
participation in Indragiri Hulu Regency. This research is a primary research with
data collection using research questionnaires. The total population of the study is
the total population in 5 sub-districts, namely 159,449 people, then using the
Slovin formula with a level of 10% obtained a total sample of 100 respondents.
The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative by using Likert scale
measurement and using Chi-square test technique. Previously ordinal data was
converted into interval data. Then the data obtained is transformed into intervals
in order to get the same units as can be done in the transformation of ordinal data
to intervals, namely by using the Succesive Interval Method.
Based on the results of the study, it is known that the overall level of village
community participation in Indragiri Hulu Regency reaches a score of 62.8,
which is between 60-80% and can be said to be in the high category. Then for the
Chi-square test technique, it is known that there is a relationship between
community participation in village development, namely labor participation, mind
participation, money participation and material or goods participation, there is a
relationship with community participation in village development in Indragiri
Hulu district.
Based on the results of the study, suggestions that can be given to researchers
are that there is a need for more efforts from the local government in increasing
community participation in village development. As for the things that must be
done, such as village officials hold a socialization on the importance of
community participation for village progress aimed at the local community.
