Pengembangan Buku Pengayaan Keanekaragaman Jenis Tumbuhan Di Zona Riparian Buluh Cina Di Kabupaten Kampar
Plants in the Riparian Zone of Buluh Cina that grows along the Kampar
river is one of the local potentials that can be utilized in learning to increase
students' motivation, curiosity, and caring attitude towards the surrounding
environment. However, educators do not use the environment as a source and
learning media so that students' knowledge is limited. Therefore, a learning
enrichment book is needed to provide information about the species diversity of
plants in Riparian Zone the area, especially in Kampar Regency. The purpose of
this study was to develop and produce a Riparian Plant Species Diversity
Enrichment Book in the Riparian Zone of Buluh Cina as an alternative learning
resource for Biology subjects in class X SMA in Kampar regency.
The method used in this research is the development method with the
ADDIE Model. The development was carried out at the Faculty of Teacher
Training and Biology, UNRI, while the trial and implementation were carried out
at SMA N 1 Salo. The instrument used is a validation sheet to measure the validity
of the book in terms of content and material components, a teacher's
questionnaire sheet to assess the feasibility of the material, presentation of
material, language, and graphics in the developed book. In addition, a practical
test of the use of enrichment books was conducted using a questionnaire given to
5 postgraduate students of Biology education UNRI, while a limited trial was
given to 25 students of SMA N 1 Salo.
The results of material expert validation on the content feasibility
component and the material presentation component had an average score of 4.5
very good categories. The results of the expert validation of the language and
graphic component media obtained an average score of 4.5 very good categories.
The validation of biology teachers on the components of material feasibility,
presentation of content / material, language components, and graphic components
obtained an average score of 4.6 very good categories. The results of the
practicality test on the content feasibility aspect obtained an average score of
86.3 very practical categories, material presentation aspects an average score of
84.2 very practical categories, language and graphic aspects obtained an average
score of 83.3 very practical categories. The average value of the test results is
limited to the material feasibility component of 75.8 good category, content
presentation component / material of 79.9 good category, language component
73.7 good category, and graphic component 74.4 good category. The results of
the data show that there are 27 plant species found in the riparian zone of Buluh
Cina. This is inseparable from the chemical and physical conditions in the Buluh
Cina area which has a soil pH of 4-5.9. Based on the results it can be concluded
that the book Riparian Plant Species Diversity Enrichment Book in the Riparian
Zone of Buluh Cina in Kampar Regency that was developed is good and suitable
for use in the biology learning process in schools and can be used as an
additional alternative for teachers in learning so that it can add insight to
students.
