Keanekaragaman Jenis Tumbuhan Paku (Pteridofita) Disepanjang Tepi Sungai Batang Kuantan Kecamatan Pangean, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

Pangean District, Kuantan Singingi Regency is one of the distribution sites for
ferns. This study aims to determine the diversity of ferns in Pangean District,
Kuantan Singingi Regency based on morphological characters. This research was
conducted using the exploratory method. A total of 15 species of ferns were found
and identified based on their morphological characters. The results of the
morphological data were scored and analyzed using the NTSYS (Numerical
Taxonomy and Multivariate Analysis System) pc 2.202i program. The similarity
coefficient values ranged from 0.09 to 0.94. The highest coefficient value of 0.94
was found in the species Pyrrosia piloselloides and Pyrrosia lanceolata, while the
lowest coefficient value of 0.09 was found in pairs of Davallia denticulata and
Diplazium esculentum. The dendrogram shows that ferns are divided into two
main groups grouped by leaf type
