This study aims to identify the type of pattern that analyzes the meaning of synesthesia in
the novels of Kala work rain dreams and eleftheriaword. this type of research is
descriptive qualitative. data collection methods, namely the method of recording,
identifying the results of the data, looking for data quotes as analysis. The data analysis
technique in this study begins with the stage of identifying the data, the stage of clarifying
the data, the stage of explaining the data, and concluding the results of the data analysis.
The data sources in this research are the novel Kala by Rain Dream and Elerphtheriaword.
This novel was written by two people. This novel was published in 2017. The data in this
study is a language unit that contains synesthesia in the novels of Kala, the work of Rain
of Dreams and Eleftheriaword.
