Penerapan Media VBL (Video Based Laboratory) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Fisika Siswa SMA Pada Materi Elastisitas Zat Padat
The research aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of Video Based
Laboratory (VBL) use in increasing students' concept of physics on a topic of
solid matter elasticity. This study in the background of practice activities in
school to date remains a major obstacle to learning activities. Low availability of
tools and previews infrastructure, preview time, inadequate laboratory
equipment. To that end is one of the solutions that can be used to address the
problem by leveraging this ever-expanding technology. One medium that can be
used to help students assist in experimental activities is the video based
laboratory (VBL).
This research is an action research model Karthwoll-Andersoon revision
version for cognitive levels. The research was conducted on a class XI student of
SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan the number of students 36 people. Actions carried out in 2
group, namely experiment with Video Based Laboratory (VBL) and control
groups is the discourse. After treatment, both classes will be given 15 cognitive
test. Analysis of the data used is descriptive data and inferential analysis. the
results of the data in the field with a independent T-test. The results showed that
students in experiment group are more effective than a control class with a
significant data value of 0.008.
