Pengaruh Limbah Padat Pabrik Kelapa Sawit Dan Jarak Tanam Yang Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Kacang Hijau (Vigna Radiata L.)
ABSTRACT
Mung bean is a legume (leguminosa) which in terms of agronomic aspects
has advantages when compared to other legumes. The production of mung bean,
especially in Riau Province, has decreased from year to year, this is because
farmers are less interested and fertile land is limited, so that the use of less fertile
land is intensified on the land. Efforts that can be made to support increased
growth and production of mung bean plants are by good cultivation techniques,
including the use of PKS solid waste and the use of proper spacing. This study
aims to determine the effect of the interaction of PKS solid waste and Planting
distance on the growth and production of green bean plants. The research has
been carried out at the Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Kebun Percobaan and Plant
Physiology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Binawidya
Campus Km 12.5, Binawidya Village, District. Binawidya City, Pekanbaru
starting from February to April 2021. This research use a factorial experiment
arranged according to a randomized block design (RAK). As for the treatment in
this study, the first factor is PKS solid waste (T) which consists of: T0 = No PKS
Solid Waste, T1 = PKS solid waste 5 tons.ha-1, T2 = PKS solid waste 10 tons.ha-
1, T3 = PKS solid waste 15 tons.ha-1. The second factor is the planting distance
(J), which consists of, J1 = 40 cm x 20 cm spacing, J2 = 35 cm x 20 cm spacing,
J3 = 30 cm x 20 cm spacing. Parameters observed were plant height, number of
primary branches, flowering age, number of pods per plant, number of effective
root nodules, percentage of pithy pods per plant, seed weight per plant and weight
of 100 seeds. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using variance and
followed by the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction
between the provision of solid waste and the use of planting distance had no
significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of primary branches,
number of pods per plant, number of root nodules, dry weight of seeds per plot,
flowering age, and weight of 100 seeds.
