Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Kerja Praktek Berbasis Web Pada Jurusan Teknik Elektro Universitas Riau

ABSTRACT
Students studying in Electrical Engineering at the University of Riau must
complete job training as part of their graduation requirements. The goal of
implementing practical work is for students to develop skills and knowledge in
their subject of study. The University of Riau's Electrical Engineering
department's practical work method still has flaws. The use of Google forms for
submitting practical work, the uneven distribution of supervisors, and the
numerous hurdles to providing face-to-face practical work report assistance are
just a few of them. A website-based method was created to address the issues
mentioned above. PHP and HTML programming languages are used to construct
the system utilizing the Codeigniter web framework. The Department of Electrical
Engineering, University of Riau, developed a Web-Based Job Training
Information System, which makes it easier to organize practical work data. Black
Box Testing and Usability Testing are two types of tests performed on the system
(USE Questionnaire and Likert scale.) The Web-Based Job Training Information
System at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Riau, received
90.11 percent results based on assessments using a Likert scale, which is highly
satisfying.
