Tindak Tutur Direktif Dalam Dialog Film Rentang Kisah Karya Danial Rifki

The background of this research is to analyze the form and function of directive speech acts in the dialogue film Rentang Kisah by Danial Rifki. In this research, the data source used is the film Rentang Kisah by Danial Rifki. The research data that the author does is in the form of a dialogue transcript of the film Rentang Kisah by Danial Rifki which contains the form and function of directive speech acts. Data collection techniques in this study were listening, recording, transcribing data, and taking notes. The data of this study were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The data of this research amounted to 304 data consisting of 27 forms of requests, 36 forms of orders, 17 forms of invitation, 9 forms of prohibition, 36 forms of advice, 22 forms of criticism, 148 forms of questions, and 9 forms of granting permission. Based on the data, the directive speech act function consisting of requests has the functions of asking, begging, and offering. Commands have the functions of commanding, ordering, requiring, forcing, inviting, directing, and requiring. Invitation has the function of inviting, persuading, encouraging, seducing, urging, and targeting. Prohibition has the function of prohibiting and restricting. Advice has the function of advising, advocating, suggesting, calling, reminding and proposing. Criticism has the function of reprimanding, insinuating, cursing, threatening, and angry. Question has the function of asking and interrogating. Granting permission has the function of agreeing, allowing, and forgiving.
