The problem in marketing a home industry is because of the limited ability to market products directly through internet technology and is done only by word of mouth so that promotions are not carried out properly. The challenge faced by the palm oil brown sugar business manager in West Maredan Village is that the product marketing that is carried out directly by the business manager only revolves around the West Maredan Village and the Perawang city area. For now, there is no effort from the palm sugar business manager to market its products further so that the marketing carried out only revolves around that area which makes brown sugar still unknown to the wider community. This study aims to determine life skills: home industry of brown sugar from palm oil in the village of West Maredan, Tualang District, Siak Regency
