ABSTRACT
This research was conducted on manufacturing companies listed on the
IDX. This study aims to determine the effect of diversification, good corporate
governance, corporate social responsibility on company risk moderated by
company size. The population of this study are manufacturing companies listed on
the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. The sample of this study
was selected with purposive sampling criteria so that 44 manufacturing
companies were selected. The research variables studied were diversification,
good corporate governance and corporate social responsibility as independent
variables, company risk as the dependent variable and company size as a
moderating variable. This study adopted the Structural Equation Modeling-
Partial Least Square analysis method. The results showed that the diversification
variable had a negative and insignificant effect on the company's risk, the GCG
variable had a significant negative effect on the company's risk and the CSR
variable had a positive effect on the company's risk. Firm size variable is able to
moderate the relationship of diversification to firm risk, firm size is not able to
moderate the relationship between GCG and CSR to firm risk.
