Pengembangan Media Kartu Huruf Elektrik Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Huruf Anak Usia 4-5

The ability to recognize letters is an important aspect that must be mastered by children as a basis for recognizing letter symbols, the sounds of animals/objects around them, making meaningful scribbles, and writing and mentioning the letters of the alphabet. This study aims to determine the feasibility of the Electric Letter Card media in improving the ability to recognize letters of children aged 4-5 years. The research method is research and development according to Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire (questionnaire). Data analysis in the form of quantitative descriptive. The research was conducted at Habibul Walidain Kindergarten Indragiri Hilir, and a feasibility test was carried out by 2 material and media experts, 5 educator experts and a limited trial of 7 children. The results of the material expert validation got an average score of 3.73 including in the appropriate category, the media expert validation results with an average score of 3.61 including the appropriate category, the results of the educator expert validation with an average score of 3.8 in the appropriate category, and the test The limited trials carried out found that the developed letter card media was feasible to use. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Electric Letter Card Media is feasible to use in improving the ability to recognize letters for children aged 4-5 years.
