Pengaruh Ape Pistol Geometri Terhadap Kemampuan Mengenal Bentuk Geometri Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Tk Insan Utama Pekanbaru

The ability to recognize geometric shapes is certainly very necessary for early
childhood as a basis for recognizing geometric shapes, classifying shapes,
distinguishing sizes, thinking rationally and being able to know simple concepts in
everyday life. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using APE
Pistol Geometry on the ability to recognize geometric shapes in children aged 5-6
years at Insan Utama Kindergarten Pekanbaru. This study uses a quantitativemethod
Pre-Experimental that uses the One Group Oretest-Posttest Design. The data
collection technique that will be carried out in this study is observation. The
population and sample of this study are class B Safa with a total of 10 children. And
data analysis using t-test analysis using SPSS version 23 program. The results of the
research tcount is 34,662 and ttable is 2,093, so tcount > ttable. This shows that there is an
effect of APE Pistol Geometry on the ability to recognize geometric shapes in
children aged 5-6 years. And this Geometry Pistol APE is included in the medium
category for the ability to recognize geometric shapes for children aged 5-6 years in
Pekanbaru primary human kindergarten using the N-Gain formula with a result of 67,
28%. From this research, it can be concluded that APE Pistol Geometry can be one of
the learning media that has a positive effect in developing children's ability to
recognize geometric shapes.
