This research discusses the afi fixation of The Malay verb of Riau Subdialek Semelinang
Tebing Peranap District indragiri Hulu. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is
the a fixation of riau Malay verb subdialek Semelinang Tebing Peranap District Indragiri Hulu?
This research aims to describe how the process of adding add-on or a fixation of verbs in Riau
Malay subdialek Semelinang Tebing Peranap District Indragiri Hulu. The research method
used is a descriptive qualitative method. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data
presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The data source is the native Malay speaker of
Semelinang Tebing subdialek by tapping into conversations conducted by the semelinang
tebing community when interacting and communicating, be it at home, warung, volly field and
when arisan. The results of the analysis of the afiation of malay verbs Subdialek Semelinang
Tebing Peranap District Indragiri Hulu there are details of each data, namely, (a) prefixation
as much as 78 data, (b) sufi annexation as much as 3 data, (c) fixation as much as 7 data.
The total data from the study was 88 data.
