Pengembangan Modul Elektronik Menulis Teks Eksposisi Berbasis Flip Book Bagi Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama
The 2013 curriculum emphasizes that the teacher acts as a facilitator and must make students more active in learning. Flip book-based electronic modules will be very much needed by students in learning Indonesian independently, actively, and interactively, especially in writing exposition texts which are fairly difficult. The research method used in this study is the Research & Development (RnD) method with the development process using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The experimental subjects in this study were class VIII students at SMP Negeri 5 Dumai City, SMP Negeri 21 Dumai City, Christian Middle School Kalam Kudus Dumai, and MTs Al Huda City Dumai, totaling 64 students. The data in this study were obtained from the results of the analysis of potential and problems as well as limited trials to students. Sources of data in this study obtained from interviews, distribution of questionnaires, and literature study. The data in this study were analyzed by descriptive statistics in the context of the average and Pearson product moment correlation. The quality of the electronic module in writing flip book-based exposition texts for junior high school students is seen from the results of expert validation analysis and gets a very good assessment. The practicality of the electronic module in writing expository texts for junior high school students is seen from the results of the analysis of student assessments in a limited trial and obtained an assessment with a very good category. It can be concluded that the electronic module of writing expository text based on flip book is very feasible and has the potential to be used in learning to write exposition text.
