Penerapan Project Stem Dalam Pembelajaran IPA Fisika Secara Daring Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa SMP Pada Materi Pesawat Sederhana
The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 requires quality human resources with 21st century skills that must be possessed such as critical thinking (critical thinking), creativity (creativity), collaboration (collaboration) and communication (communication). The purpose of this research was to describe the level of creative thinking skills of junior high school students before and after implementing STEM project-based learning on simple aircraft material and to find out the effectiveness of implementing simple airplane STEM projects in improving creative thinking skills of junior high school students in online science learning physics. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental design using a non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design. The population of this research is the students of class VIII SMPN 21 Pekanbaru as many as 120 students who are distributed in three classes. The samples of this research were students of class VIII 8 as the control class with a total of 28 students and class VIII 9 students as the experimental class with a total of 32 students. The sample was determined based on the results of the normality test and homogeneity test. Data collection instruments in the form of pretest and posttest creative thinking skills of class VIII junior high school students for the context of simple airplane material. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive and inferential analysis assisted by the SPSS version 20 application. The results of the descriptive research showed that students were in the quite creative category with a score of 1.70. While the results of the inferential analysis there is a significant difference in the posttest average score of creative thinking skills after treatment between the two groups with the value of Sig. = 0.008 < 0.05.
