Gambaran Kualitas Hidup Pasien Kanker Serviks Yang Menjalani Radioterapi Lengkap Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Periode 2011 - 2013
Cervical cancer is a primary malignant tumor originated from squamous epithelial cells that grew on the epitel or outer layer of the cervix, and caused by Human Papiloma Virus (HPV) infection. One of theraphy given to patients with cervical cancer could affect to the quality of life of the respondents could be assessed by using WHOQOL questionnaire. The aim of this study was at knowing the representation of life quality in patients with cervical cancer endured radiotheraphy. This study was a descriptive study with cross sectional approach implemented in June 2014. There were 31 patients with cervical cancer that endured radiotheraphy. From this study found the number of age group of 40 – 49 years old, 50 – 59 years old, and 60 – 69 years old were relatively same. Most of ethnic group was malays (58,06%). Most of the respondents education was primary school (35,48%). Most of the respondents of the occupation was housewife (90,32%). Most of the respondents stage IIb (61,29%). Most of the respondents endured radiotheraphy in >5 weeks (100%). Patients with cervical cancer endured radiotheraphy in RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau Province found that their quality of life good as many as 61,30%.
