Profil Kasus Korban Hidup Akibat Kekerasan Tumpul Yang Diperiksa Di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau Periode 2015-2019
Blunt violence is a type of violence that comes from objects that have
blunt/hard/rough ( such as stone, wood, hammer, fist, and nails) surface hit the body
tissues resulting in wounds, injuries, and trauma. Type of wounds caused by blunt
violence are abrasions, bruises and tearing. This study aims to find out the profile of
injury case due to blunt violence examined at Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Hospital
Riau for the period of 2015 – 2019. Retrospective descriptive is used as research
design to data of visum et repertum (VeR) in Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru Riau
in the period of 2015 – 2019. The number of injury cases caused by blunt violence in
this study was 3,801 cases. The gender that experienced the most frequent blunt
violence injury were males (59.7%) with the most victim’s age range between 20 – 29
years old (37.1%) The majority of Victim’s job examined were self-employed
(18.9%). The type of wound most commonly found in victims of blunt violence was
bruises (69.9%). The location of blunt force injuries was commonly found in the head
area (69.5%). Most of the degree of injury that experienced by living victim of blunt
violence was Mild (79%)
