Pemanfaatan Platform Quizizz Sebagai Evaluasi Pembelajaran Teks Eksplanasi Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bantan
The background of this research is the use of the Quizizz platform as an
evaluation of learning explanatory text for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3
Bantan. The formulation of the problems in this study were (1) How to use the
Quizizz platform as an evaluation tool for learning explanatory text for class VIII
students of SMP Negeri 3 Bantan, (2) How are student learning outcomes using
the Quizizz platform as an evaluation tool for learning explanatory text for class
VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Bantan . This research was conducted with the aim
of describing the use of the Quizizz platform as a tool/media for evaluation of
learning explanatory text for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Bantan. The
sample of this study was 22 students from class VIII 1 which were determined by
side saturation/total sampling technique. This type of research is quasi
experimental research (quasi experimental design). This study uses a Quasi
Experimental research design which leads to the application of the One Group
Pretest Posttest Design. The results of the study showed that the use of the Quizizz
platform in evaluation activities was in very good criteria (SB) of 55.91% and the
responses of students to evaluation activities were in the good category (B) of
44.01%. The percentage obtained from the results of using Quizizz in evaluation
activities is 90% which is in the very good category. Student learning outcomes in
the pretest and posttest activities, it was found that the average pretest score was
65.18 and the posttest results had a higher average score of 82.10 from the KKM
score of 70. This shows that using the Quizizz platform can increase interest and
student learning outcomes in evaluation activities of explanatory text learning for
class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Bantan.
