ABSTRACT
Monitoring is a monitoring process that is carried out to ensure that a system or activity is running well. In the world of education, monitoring is often used to monitor student activities while in the school environment. The process of monitoring students at SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Guguak Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota still uses the manual method, namely by recording reports of student violations in the ledger provided by the school. The purpose of this final project is to build a web-based student monitoring information system. System design using UML (Unified Model Language). The system was built using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, CodeIgniter framework and boostrap. Student monitoring systems can assist schools in managing student violation data and provide information to parents of students about their children's activities while at school.
