This research aims to find out how the socio-economic status of parents effect the intensity of students' hanging out behavior at the study cafe in Warung Six cafe, Simpang Baru Village, Pekanbaru City. The method used is a survey method by distributing questionnaires with quantitative analysis data processing. Data collected by distributing questionnaires and also observing and documenting to complete the data collection instruments. The location of theresearch was in Simpang Baru Village and the cafe that was the location Warung Six Cafe with a total of 60 students as respondents. Data processing analysis used simple linear regression techniques and descriptive quantitative using SPSS version 22 software. The research results found that the influence of parents' socio-economic status did not have a significant influence because it was found to only have an influence of 21.3% on the intensity of hanging out behavior in cafes among students and students. There are other influences thatinfluence the intensity of students hanging out in cafes.
