Analisis Perbandingan Non Performing Finance (NPf) Pada Bank Umum Syariah Dengan Non Performing Loan (NPL) Pada Bank Umum Konvensional Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACT

This study aims to find out and analyze whether Non Performing Financing (NPF) in Islamic commercial banks is smaller when compared to Non Performing Loans (NPL) in conventional commercial banks in Riau Province for the 2017-2022 period. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the submission of data directly to the Financial Services Authority. The analysis method used in this study is a non-parametric analysis with the Mann Whitney one-tailed test to see if the average Non Performing Financing (NPF) in Islamic commercial banks is smaller than the average Non Performing Loans (NPL) in conventional commercial banks in Riau Province processed with IBM SPSS 29. Based on the results of the Mann Whitney test, a significant value of < 0.05 was obtained, which is 0.03 for NPF and NPL. So it can be concluded that the Non Performing Financing (NPF) of Islamic commercial banks is smaller than the Non Performing Loans (NPL) of conventional commercial banks in Riau Province.
