The Batik Lebah home industry aims to be a forum for empowering the community, especially women in Kebun Lado Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study aims to determine how empowerment in the Batik Lebah home industry improves the welfare of women in Kebun Lado Village.
The population in this study is the entire community who work as batik craftsmen in the Batik Lebah home industry consisting of 7 women. This study uses a census technique, namely the entire population is used as a sample. This study uses primary and secondary data with literature studies, documentation, and surveys as data collection tools. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, conclusions, and verification.
The results of this study indicate that 1) The Batik Lebah home industry is able to empower the people of Kebun Lado Village, 2) Empowerment of the Batik Lebah home industry assisted by PT. RAPP through the Community Development program has succeeded in increasing the economy and income of the community in Kebun Lado, 3) The driving factors for empowering the Batik Lebah home industry are high workforce motivation, technological advances, support from private institutions, namely PT. RAPP, 4) Inhibitors of empowering the Batik Lebah home industry, namely lack of capital and limited access to financing, quality of workforce, raw materials that are difficult to obtain and natural resources.
