Strategi Indonesia Dalam Mempromosikan Pariwisata Melalui Arabian Travel Market Tahun 2021 – 2024
Indonesia is actively utilizing the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai in 2021 - 2024 as a strategic platform to promote tourism in the Middle East region and international markets. This activity was carried out by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) with the aim of restoring the tourism sector after the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing tourist visits from the Middle East, and increasing the country's foreign exchange. Then, this article will try to answer the question of how Indonesia's strategy is in promoting tourism through the Arabian Travel Market Indonesia in 2021 - 2024.
The research method used is qualitative by using the theory of public diplomacy with data collection techniques through literature studies have been used. So that it aims to know and understand more deeply Indonesia's Strategy in Promoting Tourism Through the Arabian Travel Market Indonesia in 2021 - 2024.
The results show that the strategy carried out by Indonesia. In 2021, one of which is the Hybrid Format. In 2022, it will include business to business (B2B) meetings between Indonesian tourism industry players and potential buyers from various countries. In 2023, it will promote super priority destinations through the theme "Visit Indonesia Year 2023: Explore Our New Wonderful Destinations". In 2024 with the collaboration of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to promote Jakarta as a major recreational tourism destination for Middle Eastern tourists. The findings of the study show that the Arabian Travel Market provides benefits to tourist visits and an increase in the country's foreign exchange for Indonesia.
