Motivasi Siswa Non- Muslim Bersekolah Di Smk Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Pekanbaru
This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru City with a focus on Non-Muslim students who choose to attend institutions based on Islamic religious teachings. The main objective of this study is to explore the motivation of non-Muslim students in choosing schools that have religious nuances different from the religion they follow, as well as the obstacles they experience while attending the school. This study uses a qualitative approach that focuses on data collection and organization to find patterns that are relevant and important in this context. In this study, seven non-Muslim students were selected as research subjects, with one teacher in charge of validating the data that had been collected. The results of the study show that the main motivation of non-Muslim students to continue their education at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 is the recognized quality of school, which is driven by students' personal decisions and support from parents. Students also feel comfortable in the school environment, despite the regulations related to the obligation to wear hijab, and most students admit that they do not experience significant obstacles in undergoing the learning process.
