Perencanaan Dan Pembuatan Alat Trolley Sprayer Pestisida Dengan Menggunakan Mesin 2 Tak
ABSTRACT
This research aims to design and develop a pesticide sprayer in the form of a trolley sprayer using a 2-stroke engine. This tool is designed to increase the efficiency of pesticide spraying in agricultural areas, especially in hard-to-reach locations. With a capacity of 70 liters, this trolley sprayer is expected to provide a wider spraying area than a hand-held sprayer with a manual lever, while reducing the time and labor required in the spraying process. During the development process, a literature review was conducted to understand various aspects related to trolley sprayer construction, including machining techniques and the use of 2-stroke engines, which are commonly used in agricultural equipment. Two-stroke engines were chosen for their efficient power delivery and high mobility, making spraying easier for farmers. Furthermore, this study also identified problems farmers face when using manual sprayers, such as uneven pesticide distribution and fatigue due to excessive labor. Using this trolley sprayer is expected to improve the quality and accuracy of pesticide spraying, as well as optimize pesticide use for better agricultural yields.
