Analisis Disparitas Pendapatan Antar Kabupaten/Kota Di Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze income disparities between regencies/cities in
Riau Province. The main problems studied are Economic Structures and Levels of
Disparities between Regencies/Cities in Riau Province. This study uses time series
data from 2019-2023 and cross-section data which covers 12 regencies/cities in
Riau Province. The type of data used in this study is secondary data. The analysis
method uses Williamson Index Analysis and Klassen Typology using Microsoft
Excel. The results of this study Klassen Typology Analysis between regencies/cities
in Riau Province show that Pekanbaru and Pelalawan are included in (Quadrant
I) as developed and rapidly growing areas. Siak and Rokan Hilir Regencies are in
(Quadrant II), which are developed but depressed areas. Kuantan Singingi,
Indragiri Hilir, Indragiri Hulu, Rokan Hulu, and Dumai City Regencies are
included in (Quadrant III) as rapidly developing areas. Meanwhile, Bengkalis,
Meranti Islands, and Kampar are classified as underdeveloped areas (Quadrant
IV). The Williamson Index analysis in 2019-2023 between districts/cities in Riau
Province shows development inequality in the moderate category, with an average
index value of 0.523.
