Penggunaan Ragam Bahasa Hormat Dalam Anime Kumichou Musume To Sewagakari

This study aims to describe the forms of honorific language (keigo) used in the anime Kumichou Musume to Sewagakari and the social factors influencing its usage. This research is a descriptive qualitative study employing data collection techniques such as observation and note-taking, as well as descriptive analysis. The primary data consists of the 12 episodes of the anime Kumichou Musume to Sewagakari, released in 2022. Secondary data includes relevant literature on honorific language in Japanese. The results of the study show that there are 29 instances of honorific language usage, categorized into three types: sonkeigo (respectful language), kenjougo (humble language), and teineigo (polite language). Among the collected data, 22 instances are sonkeigo, 5 are kenjougo, and 2 are teineigo. The social factors influencing the use of honorific language in this anime include social relationships, familiarity, social status, group membership, gender, and situational context.
