Hubungan Persepsi Mahasiswatentang Media Pembelajaran Pada Flipped Classroom Dengan Motivasi Belajar Histologi Di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Riau
Flipped classroom is a learning model that introduces basic materials to students before class session. This approach helps reduce the limitations of traditional learning methods, one of which is in medical education. One of the factors that students need to learn basic medical sciences such as histology is learning motivation. The learning media used in flipped classrooms can shape student perceptions. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relationship between student perceptions of learning media in a flipped classroom and histology learning motivation at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau in February 2025 using correlational design and questionnaire instruments for data collection. The sample of this study was taken using a simple random sampling technique of 105 people. Based on the data, student perceptions of the learning media used in a flipped classroom (in the form of learning videos) were included in the good category with an average score of 60.53. The level of student motivation to learn histology with the use of learning media in a flipped classroom (in the form of learning videos) was included in the high category with an average score of 150.82. Statistical analysis with Chi-Square test showed a relationship (p = 0.002) between student perceptions of the learning media used in a flipped classroom (in the form of learning videos) and their motivation to learn histology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau (p < 0.05).
