Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kepatuhan Konsumsi Tablet Tambah Darah Pada Siswi Sma Negeri 8 Di Kecamatan Sail Kota Pekanbaru
Adolescence is a transitional period from childhood to adulthood characterized by growth and development, requiring optimal nutritional intake, especially iron. Iron deficiency can cause anemia, which is common among adolescent girls. One of the efforts to prevent anemia is the government's Iron Supplement Tablet (TTD) program. The purpose of this study was to determine the compliance rate of TTD consumption, knowledge about anemia, knowledge about TTD, and attitudes toward TTD, as well as their relationship with TTD consumption compliance among female students at Senior High School 8 in Sail District, Pekanbaru City. This study was an analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The study subjects consisted of 45 tenth-grade female students selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using bivariate analysis with the Chi-square test and Fisher's exact test. The results of this study showed that 38 students (84.4%) did not comply with TTD consumption, 23 students (51.1%) had good knowledge about anemia, 21 students (46.7%) had poor knowledge about TTD, and 37 students (82.2%) had a negative attitude towards TTD. It was concluded that there was no significant relationship between knowledge about anemia (p=0.062), knowledge about TTD (p=0.419), and attitude towards TTD (p=0.590) with compliance in consuming TTD.
