Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Pengelolaan Tracer Study Berbasis Web Program Studi Teknik Informatika Universitas Riau
ABSTRACT
Tracer studies at the program level often suffer from manual collection, delayed updates, and limited, non-standardized reporting hindering accreditation and curriculum review. This study designs and develops a program-level, web-based tracer study system for the Informatics Engineering Program at Universitas Riau using Laravel 11 and MySQL, with DataTables for interactive data views and planned integration with the program’s academic information system (SIAK). Key features include alumni self-service data updates, lightweight visual summaries, an ATS-ready CV generator, and PDF/Excel report export for the head of program. The research adopts a Research and Development approach with a Prototype process (Communication, Quick Plan, Modeling Quick Design, Construction of Prototype, Deployment & Feedback). Software quality is evaluated using ISO/IEC 25010. Results show 100% pass on seven functional black-box test cases; Reliability, Security, and Maintainability ratings of A from SonarQube with an approximate technical debt ratio of 2.7%; high PageSpeed scores; 100% portability and compatibility across major browsers/devices; and “Excellent” user experience based on the UEQ. These findings indicate the system is effective, reliable, and maintainable, and strengthens program-level, data-driven decision making for accreditation and curriculum evaluation. Future work includes longitudinal analytics and deeper cohort tracking.
