Struktur Komunitas Vegetasi Mangrove Di Pantai Desa Jangkang Kabupatenbengkalis Provinsiriau

This research was conducted in April 2012 in Jangkang coastal waters of Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. Three station were decided on the Jangkang Coastal by belt transect method. The results should that there were 10 species of mangrove found in the study area, namely: Bruguiera gymnorhyza, Bruguiera parviflora, Nypa fruticans, Rhyzophora apiculata, Rhyzophora mucronata, Sonneratia alba, Sonneratia caseolaris, Xylocarpus granatum, Thespesia populnea, Excoecaria agallocha,
At station I the most dominant mangrove species was E. agallocha and the least were S. alba and S. caseolaris, at station II of the most dominant was E.agallocha and the least were B.parviflora and S. alba, at station III the most in dominant types E.agallocha was the kind B. gymnorhyza is the least of. The most frequently present spesies was Rhizophora apiculata. There was no domination shown by particular species (C ~ 0). It can be concluded that mangrove forest in the station II has been disturbed, however as the whole, the mangrove was in relatively good condition
