Hubungan Daya Ledak Otot Tungkai Dan Koordinasi Mata Dan Tangan Dengan Ketepatan Smash Pada Atlet Voli Putri Svc Pekanbaru

Based on the researcher’s observation, the smash accuracy of female volleyball athletes was not too well. It was shown that the smash of the athletes was easy to be blocked by enemy. The smashed ball was not accurated well or ball out. Then, the smash of the athletes used to touch the net, used to be easy to be blocked, etc. The aim of the research was to see the correlation of the explosive power of leg muscle and the coordination of eyes and hands into smash accuracy for female volleyball athletes of SVC Pekanbaru. The population of the research was twelve female athletes of SVC Pekanbaru who followed the volleyball practice. According to the population, Sudjana ( 1996:5 ) said that the collecting data was total sampling referring to the small amount of sample who followed the practice. It meant that the sample of the research was 12 people. The instrument of the research was the explosive power of leg muscle test by using vertical jump test, the coordination of eyes and hands by using throwing and catching ball test, and the smash accuracy by using the shooting target box which provided by score. The data was analysed by using simple Product Moment Correlation. Based on the result of the research, there was a correlation between the explosive power of leg muscle and the smash accuracy for the female volleyball athletes of SVC Pekanbaru and there was a correlation between the explosive power of leg muscle and the coordination of eyes and hands through the smash accuracy of female volleyball athletes in SVC Pekanbaru.
