Pemanfaatan Vermikompos Yang Berbeda Terhadap Perubahan Parameter Kimia Pada Media Tanah Gambut
This research was conducted from January to March, 2017 in Peat Land Kualu Nenas village, Tambang District, Kampar, Riau. The objective of this study was to know the best of kinds of vermicompost to change the chemical of soil parameters (pH, soil organic matter content, total N, total P, total K, C/N ratio), and chemical of water parameters (pH, dissolved oxygen, free carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrate, orthophosphate and ammonia). The method used in this study is an experimental method, using a Complete Random Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The treatments used in this experiment were without vermicompost (P0), human vermicompost (P1), cow vermicompost (P2), chicken vermicompost (P3). The results of this study was shown the P1 (human vermicompost) was the best on the pond bottom peat soil better the other treatments, and were in the water chemical parameters. The parameters value of P1 (human vermicompost) in the pond bottom peat soil were pH 6.47, soil organic matter content 59.69%, total N 2.79%, total P 2.33%, total K 1.53% and C/N ratio 16.59. And in the water chemical parameters were pH 5.6 to 6.8, DO 2.3 to 3.3 mg/L, CO2 9.96-18.99 mg/L, nitrate 10,43 mg/L, orthophosphate 6,76 mg/L, ammonia 0.08 mg/L.
