Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbicara Melalui Media Gambar Berseri Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di Tk Bintang Kecil Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the
ability of children to speak through the media of serial images in children aged 4-5
years in TK Bintang Kecil Bangko Subdistrict Rokan Hilir District. The research
was conducted because of the ability to speak to children aged 4-5 years in
kindergarten The small star of Bangko Sub-district of Rokan Hilir Regency is still
low. Observations conducted indicate that the likelihood factor of this ability
because of teacher-centered learning, children less actively participate in learning
activities. This research is collaborative between researchers and classroom
teachers. The data were collected using observation and documentation method.
Data was analyzed by applying 2 cycles, where cycle I was held three meetings and
cycle II was held three times. The results of this study indicate an increase in
speaking skills in children aged 4-5 years in TK Bintang Kecil Bangko District
Rokan Hilir Regency. Through the medium of series images, before the action up to
cycle II. Child speaking ability increased from before action 40.33% with criteria
began to develop. After the action of the level of speech ability of children
increased in the first cycle of 50.43% with the criteria begin to grow, in the second
cycle increased to 76.07% with the criteria evolve as expected. The conclusion of
this research is through the media of series image can improve speech ability for
children of age group 4-5 years in TK Bintang Kecil Sub-district of Bangko
Regency of Rokan Hilir.
