Pengaruh Manajemen Pembiayaan Pendidikan Dan Fasilitas Pembelajaran Terhadap Kinerja Guru Di Lingkungan Yayasan Pendidikan Cendana Pekanbaru
The teacher as a component of the education system has important role in achieving the success of the teaching and learning process. Ibrahim Bafadal (2006:24), citing Griffin's opinion, argues that in school learning settings, improving the quality of education is highly dependent on the level of teacher performance. So, among all components in the learning system, the teacher is the most important one. In carrying out their professional duties, teacher performance is thought to be influenced by several factors, including management of education financing and learning facilities.
This research was motivated by a preliminary study conducted at schools within the Yayasan Pendidikan Cendana Riau. It was found that there were efforts to save the budget for education because the assistance from PT. Chevron was increasingly limited. This policy of course also has an impact on all financial needs in schools, especially aspects of teacher salaries and learning facilities. Therefore, it needs quality-based management.
This study aims to analyze the influence of the independent variables of education financing management (X1) and learning facilities (X2) on the dependent variable of teacher performance (Y), either individually (partially) or jointly (double). The research approach is a quantitative method with regression analysis techniques. The research respondents were 59 school teachers in the Yayasan Pendidikan Cendana Riau, by applying all members of the population as a sample.
The results of the study are (1) There is a significant influence of education financing management on teacher performance with the influence power of 25.90%. (2) There is a significant effect of learning facilities on teacher performance with a strong influence of 38.00%. This indicates that it is very important to manage learning facilities in a professional manner in the delivery of education, especially in supporting the quality of teacher performance. (3) There is a significant influence of the management of education financing and learning facilities on teacher performance with the power of influence of 49%. These results indicate the importance of these two factors in supporting teacher performance. Keywords: Education Financing Management, Learning Facilities,Teacher Performance
