Komparasi Karakteristik Beton Penambahan Aditif Masterglenium Ace® 8595 Dengan Beton Normal Fas 0,5
ABSTRACT
Concrete is defined as a mixture of cement, fine aggregate, coarse
aggregate, and water with or without using additional materials. The usage of
additional admixture such as superplasticizer is expected to obtain a premium
concrete. This research objectives to acknowledge how much compressive
strength influence the concrete if added with MasterGlenium ACE® 8595.
MasterGlenium ACE® 8595 is Type F chemical admixtures (Water Reducing,
High Range Admixtures). Prior to making the test specimen, the writer did
properties test on fine aggregate and coarse aggregate along with designed
composition of concrete mixture by using DOE (Department of Environment)
method that is corresponding with SNI 03-2834-2000. To figure out about water
reducing used, the writer did trial mix to the original concrete mixtures by adding
1,35% of MasterGlenium ACE® 8595 of the weight of the cement and the result
obtained that 40% of water reducing conduce excellent visual. The test specimen
created 8 samples for each variation which 3 of those samples were tested at the
age of 7 days whilst 5 of them were tested at the age of 28 days. The test
specimen was created by using cylinder molds with diameter of 15 cm and height
of 30 cm. From the result of 28 days of compressive strength test with
MasterGlenium ACE® 8595 addition, it is showed an increasing value of Normal
Concrete 29,77 MPa which are 0,54%; 0,81%; 1,08%; 1,35%; 1,62%; 1,89% and
2,16% increase as much 14.07%, 121.98%, 93.16%, 89.20%, 49.62%, 31.56%
and 37.45%. The maximum compressive strength obtained from 0,81% variation
with 121.98%% of increasing percentage from Normal Concrete compressive
strength for 66.1 Mpa.
